The TRANSFORMER movie rolls into theaters on July 3rd and my sense is that it will have a huge opening. Dreamworks and Paramount Pictures should see a very strong demand for the movie. Why? Nothing other than the fact that TRANSFOMERS have millions of fans worldwide. In fact, starting today, BOTCON kicks off in the home state of Hasbro (makers of TRANSFORMERS), Rhode Island. The convention will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island. You can find out more at this site. Nice way to kick off the 4th of July break. Looks like plenty of action and innovative special effects.
